The housing design supports different mounting arrangements, including direct mounting, adapter-sleeve mounting and withdrawal-sleeve mounting, as applicable to the bearing and shaft configuration.
SN 30 housings can be used for locating and non-locating bearing arrangements, as well as cross-located bearing arrangements, providing flexibility for different shaft and bearing configurations.
For installations where the housing is required at the end of the shaft, special end-covers can be supplied on request.

For a fixed bearing arrangement, locating rings can be fitted to provide axial location of the bearing.
The grease inlet arrangement can be positioned according to the bearing configuration. For bearings having an annular groove, the grease inlet can be provided through the centre of the housing cap; for other bearing arrangements, the grease nipple is fitted on the side.
